As a female traveler who lived in Morocco for 3 years, I often get asked about how I felt travelling around Morocco as a solo traveler often. Thankfully, I can say I was very blessed to few bad or scary moments in my time living alone in Morocco. Particularly, when I lived in the most remote desert village, that was 20 hours away by road to Rabat, I felt safest travelling.I definitely felt like I was prepared and aware on how to stay safe abroad.
We’re no stranger to cross-country adventures at Around the World Beauty. However, despite our veteran road trip experience, on a recent adventure to Vermont, we were reminded how it’s better to be over-prepared when venturing onto the great American highway. For this busy holiday driving season, we’ve partnered up with Chevrolet to bring you our ultimate road trip checklist to ensure you enjoy the journey. So stock up on those trip snacks, and settle in!
Thanksgiving can be tough if you’re abroad. Being separated from home means being separated from all the food, fun, and friendly faces that make the holiday special, right? Wrong.

Like many budget-conscious travelers, I'm always hesitant about adding on the "extras" when planning a trip like travel insurance. Not only do these optional upgrades and fees add up, but I'm just naturally skeptical of being sold something that I "need," yet wasn't included in the purchase price.

There is a lot going on in the skies this week. From the major transition of Uranus into Taurus to the New Moon in Taurus and the sun currently being in Taurus, we all will be feeling a lot of bull energy this week to say the least. But those aren’t the only major events going on in the world due to the planetary movements. Today’s New Moon also welcomes the beginning of Ramadan, the holiest month in Islam.

The annual Women’s Travel Festival is so much more than an industry event for networking and brand promotion: it truly brings together women to inspire and empower them, and connect them through travel. As an outsider to this world, the event was a personal turning point for me that showed me how much there was to offer in travel. I’m a full-time makeup artist, and my interest in adding some travel into my life and business is what brought me to Around the World Beauty.
Camping is an amazing and adventurous way to travel. However, while connecting to our beauty roots we don't always want to run into actual roots. We love nature, but sometime need a little more comfort when we're traveling. In comes: Glamping.

For me Venice was a city I always heard was a must visit in Italy, but never doing research or actually knowing what it offered I went blindly and added it to my month journey in Italy. When I arrived I didn’t know what to expect but left wanting to return, and knowing this was by far a city of history and so much ancient beauty that each passage within this labyrinth had a story to tell.
After watching Marie Antoinette the Sofia Cappola Version I always knew the palace she called home was a place I had to visit and explore deeper. I decided to opt out of a tour and just explore on my own on a random Friday.

I was honored to join forces with these game changers to share my passion for beauty and travel. The goal of Good Travels is to empower people to use travel as a tool to educate and build awareness. They use their trips to support various causes and nonprofits that are making a positive change around the world. I was thrilled to be able to travel to Morocco, one of my favorite places, with the intention to help and to learn. When I entered Marrakesh, a place of exceptional beauty, I met a group of twelve amazing women, all committed to elevating conversations about beauty.

Costa Rica is one of the most vibrant, eco-friendly, and open minded cultures there is around the world. It’s surrounded by rainforests and natural experiences like visits to the Arenal Volcano, with hanging bridges, giant waterfall and thermal mineral pools. On our last journey we found a place to call home at “The Retreat” located on a crystal-quartz mountain for a world-class nature inspired, holistic healing oasis immersed in the natural beauty of Costa Rica. Soaking up the luxury of relaxation, The Retreat offers spectacular views of the Nicoya Peninsula and the Pacific Ocean. Each of my senses were heightened as I woke up to a turquoise view of my room floating among the clouds as the sun rises in the east.
